The 2017 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition opened grandly at the Wuhan International Expo Center on the 26th, with the theme of "Supply side Structural Reform of Agricultural Mechanization".

According to statistics, a total of 1993 companies participated in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of over 230000 square meters and an estimated visitor count of over 130000. It was accompanied by more than 20 high-end conferences, forums, and activities related to the development of agricultural mechanization in various aspects.

In terms of physical exhibition, subject display, forum theme and other aspects, we have fully implemented the whole process mechanization plan of main crop production, and made efforts to expand the mechanization of production of economic crops such as livestock, orchard, vegetables, and machinery and equipment related to primary processing of agricultural products, and actively implemented the supply side structural reform and the "the Belt and Road" strategy

The China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition has always been focused on conveying policy signals, boosting market confidence, promoting technological progress, closely connecting with the market, and strengthening international cooperation and exchanges.

This year's exhibition highlights new features in the layout of the exhibition venue. In addition to conventional exhibition areas such as tractors, harvesting machinery, tillage and land preparation machinery, and plant protection machinery, there are also dedicated exhibition areas for orchard vegetable machinery and agricultural machinery and books. For the first time, the China Agricultural Robot Competition has been introduced to the exhibition site.

The three major associations in the agricultural machinery industry gather world-class and first-class agricultural machinery enterprises in China, connecting high-quality resources across the entire industry chain from upstream to downstream, guiding the agricultural machinery industry to implement structural changes, and presenting a panoramic view of the mechanization plan for the entire production process of major crops. They actively contribute to promoting and transforming the development mode of agriculture and improving the comprehensive international competitiveness of agriculture.

In addition, at the opening ceremony, the location and time of the sister exhibition of China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition - the National Agricultural Machinery and Parts Exhibition were also announced. The exhibition will be held in Zhengzhou, Henan from March 29th to 30th, 2018.
